PRODUCT QUALITY DEFICIENCY REPORT (PQDR)

For cross-component product qual- ity deficiency reports (PQDRs), AR 702–7 states that DOD Components may use processes in AR 702–7, Enclosure 2 or component specified instructions which are prescribed herein.

Deficiency Report means a report prepared by a Land Surveyor, a Landscape Architect, or a Professional Engineer describing the uncompleted construction requirements of the Lot Grading Plan.

What Is a Deficiency? A deficiency is the numerical difference between the amount of tax that a taxpayer, or taxpaying entity, reports on a tax return and the amount that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) determines is actually owed. The term only applies to shortfalls and not to surpluses.

PQDRs are the primary tool used for receiving feedback from material users on the state of systems and material issued through the supply system.

The PQDR process provides timely quality feedback to activities responsible for design, development, purchasing, production, supply, maintenance, contract administration, and other functions so that action can be initiated to determine cause, take corrective action, and prevent recurrence.
