Open the folder in File Explorer. Left click the small down arrow to the right of the 'Date' or 'Date Modified' header; the calendar box appears. Select your date; for a date range – shift and left click on the closing date. The files for the chosen date(s) will appear.

Find files by date modified in Windows Press the Windows key + E on the keyboard to open File Explorer. On the left side-scrolling menu, select the drive or folder that you want to view the last modified date(s) (A) for the contents.

In the File Explorer ribbon, switch to the Search tab and click the Date Modified button. You'll see a list of predefined options like Today, Last Week, Last Month, and so on. Pick any of them. The text search box changes to reflect your choice and Windows performs the search.

Type something in your search and then when you get the results, in the Search Contextual tab, click on Search Options. That will allow you to search by Date Modified.

Choose File. Select Properties. Click the Description tab. Find the creation date and time near the title and author.

Insert Date in Word Click the Insert tab. Click the Date and Time button. Select a date format. Check the Update automatically check box. If the Update automatically check box isn't checked, the date will be inserted as static text. ... Click OK.
