Regular Decision (RD) Regular Decision applicants submit their application by mid-January, and receive notifications of admission and scholarship in March. These applicants will then have until May 1 to choose to enroll at Gettysburg College.

In compliance with Pennsylvania laws and the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act, the College does not approve of the consumption of alcohol by students or guests under the age of 21, on or off the campus.

With a GPA of 3.81, Gettysburg College requires you to be near the top of your class, and well above average. Your transcript should show mostly A's. Ideally, you will also have taken several AP or IB classes to show that you can handle academics at a college level.

Interviews: While interviews are not required, Gettysburg College does value the opportunity to learn more about you beyond your application. Interviews are offered on-campus and in select locations around the globe.
