Get Prayer Of The Faithful

In the General Intercessions or the Prayer of the Faithful, the people respond in a certain way to the word of God which they have welcomed in faith and, exercising the office of their baptismal priesthood, offer prayers to God for the salvation of all.

Sisters and brothers, on this day of new beginning in our human lives, let us pray for our own needs, those of our neighbours, and those of all our human brothers and sisters.

The Prayer of the Faithful takes the format of a short series of announced intentions, each followed by a period of silence during which the faithful make their prayer. The intentions should be brief, few in number, simply constructed and clearly articulated.

We ask, Lord, that you hear the prayers we offer in your name and help us live our lives as you did , with love, tolerance and forgiveness in our hearts We make these prayers through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
