The State Board of Cosmetology (Board) amends § 7.2 (relating to fees) to read as set forth in Annex A. The final-form rulemaking provides for an increase to the biennial license renewal fees for all licensees and increases certain application fees to cover the costs of processing those applications.

You may renew your license online using your User ID and Password. If you do not remember your User ID and Password, you may still renew your license on the South Carolina Board of Cosmetology website using the online services at: .llr.sc.gov/cosmo.

To become a licensed skin care professional, Maine requires completion of a licensed esthetics program consisting of 600 hours of training and successfully passing the written and practical examinations for esthetician licensure.

All Cosmetology hours expire four years from the enrollment date. If 1250 hours of instruction are not completed by a student's graduation date, hours will need to be accrued independently at a private institution in order to be eligible to obtain State Board of Cosmetology certification for Pennsylvania.
