Get I20 Scholarship

The first step is to apply to a SEVP-approved school in the United States. After the SEVP-approved school accepts your enrollment, you will be registered for the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and must pay the SEVIS I-901 fee. The SEVP-approved school will issue you a Form I-20.

Use a credit card and complete the online Form I-901. The $350 fee can be paid through the mail. Submit a completed Form I-901 and a check or money order drawn on a U.S. bank and payable in U.S. currency.

How long does it take to receive my I-20? If you are studying outside of the US and don't have an F-1 visa yet: After receipt of all required documents, it takes about 2–3 weeks for your I-20 to be processed. We are currently issuing all I-20s electronically through the Terra Dotta portal.

Go to the Student Information page. 2. Click Print Draft I-20. An Open or Save option displays at the bottom of the Student Information page.

The Form I-20 lists your program start date, 30 days before which you are allowed to enter the United States. F-1 and M-1 student visas can be issued up to 120 days in advance of your course of study start date.

The I-20 is a multi-purpose document issued by a U.S. government-approved educational institution certifying that a student has been admitted to a full-time study program and has demonstrated sufficient financial resources to stay in the United States.
