To request a hearing, complete the Response to Parking Citation Form and check response E. You can submit the form by mail, to the mailing address listed at the top of this page, OR by appearing at the Multnomah County Circuit Court within 60 days from the date your citation was issued.

You must request an appeal within 30 days of the Hearing Officer's decision. You may NOT skip the Initial Review or Hearing proceedings and file immediately for a Superior Court ruling. You must file for the appeal at the Superior Court, Limited Jurisdiction – PARKING CITATION APPEALS.

To report illegal parking in your neighborhood, call (619) 531-2000 or report the parking violation online. The following general provisions of law apply whether or not there are signs or curb markings present.

Vehicles cannot be parked or stored on a public street for long periods of time. Storage of a vehicle is considered to be a vehicle in excess of 72 hours without being moved at least one tenth of a mile. Vehicles stored longer than 72 hours are subject to being towed or cited.

Residents can call 911 or 311 so that an officer or ticketing agent can be sent to issue a citation.
