Visas are issued through Jamaica's network of consular posts located at our diplomatic and consular missions.

Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days, but that time frame may vary ing to the circumstances of the case.

To check that, you must visit the Jamaican embassy website in your country. Once you have the appointment for your visa referral, you must take all documents and your original passport to the appointment. The visa process can take anywhere from 2 to 7 working days in the U.S.

Visas are normally processed within 24 – 48 hours or 5 – 7 business days depending on the country of citizenship.
