The residential agriculture zone applies to properties designated on the zoning map which are suitable for very low-density residential use and limited agricultural activities and contribute to maintaining the city's rural and small-town character and small-scale agricultural activities.

Only one accessory dwelling unit shall be allowed per detached single-family dwelling or manufactured dwelling. B. No accessory dwelling unit shall be allowed in a cottage cluster development, or in a manufactured dwelling park, or accessory to a temporary dwelling approved pursuant to Section 1204, Temporary Permits.

The purpose of the template dwelling statute is to enable additional development in areas zoned for forest use that are already divided into smaller parcels with houses. These areas are less likely to be used for commercial timber activity, so allowing additional development is not considered harmful.

TIMBER DISTRICT (TBR) Auxiliary: A use or alteration of a structure or land which provides help or is directly associated with the conduct of a particular forest practice.

In western Oregon, large-tract dwellings must be on ownerships of at least 160 contiguous or 200 non-contiguous acres. In eastern Oregon, they must be on ownerships of 240 or more contiguous or 320 or more non-contiguous acres.

The time of day during which the noise is occurring will influence whether or not the noise is deemed to be unreasonable in a given situation. In certain circumstances, the ordinance provides for a lower noise threshold between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day.
