Typically, this review provides a positive basis for continuing the event in the future, and an opportunity to let event organizers know about any changes in policy.

An event report, also known as a post-event report or event summary, is a document that gathers all the success metrics and other data that illustrate the performance of your event.

Post-event information is information received and processed following an event (such as witnessing a crime or a car accident) that has the potential of altering memory of the actual events. As we know, memory is fluid and can change and fade with the passing of time.

What should my post-event report include? Your event's objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) A summary of the event budget. Any important insights garnered from hosting the event. Recommendations for future events.

An after action review (AAR) is used to debrief a project or event and understand what took place, why it happened the way it did, and how to improve on it.

This is your chance to review the objectives of the event, assess its success in meeting those objectives, and highlight any areas that could be improved upon, as well as celebrating those aspects of the event that went well.
