Students / teens ages 14 to 19 years old are eligible to participate in the Planet Fitness Teenager Membership. Participants under 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the waiver. For participants under 18, once the waiver is signed, they can work out alone.

Member: You can become a member with us if you are a natural person age 16 and above. Basic-Fit can ask you to provide identification to demonstrate that you are the owner of the Pass, or to check your age. Pass: This is your access pass that you must have to enter one of our clubs.

Gym contracts are legally binding documents that define the terms of an agreement between the gym and people who use the gym. Your customers often have to sign gym contracts when they sign up for memberships or fitness classes.

Children between 12–16 are usually allowed, but it varies by location. Every gym has to follow its state's laws and restrictions for age minimums at a gym, so 2 separate locations may have different requirements. However, most gyms require a parent or guardian to start a membership or use the equipment.

In order to keep our membership cost conveniently low, we do not offer childcare services. And for the safety of children under the age of 13, we ask that they do not come into the facility. We do try to keep our clubs open as long as possible to accommodate all schedules. Check with your local club for their hours.

Members ages 13 and 14 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times.

Children and adolescents ages 6 through 17 years should do 60 minutes (1 hour) or more of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity daily.

You have to be at least 13 years old in order to go to Planet Fitness. But keep in mind that 13 year or 14 year olds can not visit there alone. In order to visit PF alone or without parental supervision, you will need to be more than 14 years of age.
