A Call Pickup Group allows users to answer a call that is ringing at another extension within that group. If more than one phone within the group is ringing, the phone that has been ringing the longest is the one that gets picked up.

Call Pickup allows users to answer any ringing line within their call-pickup group. A call pickup group is defined by the administrator and is a subset of the users in the group that can pick up each other's calls.

The callgroup parameter sets which Call Group that extension/channel is in. This means when a call comes to that Extension/Channel, it belongs to that Call Group. The pickupgroup parameter sets which Call Groups that extension/channel is able to pickup.

Common Area Phone License – $8/device/month The SKU includes the Microsoft Phone System License, so those devices can accept calls and join meetings; however, the room cannot initiate the conference (would need an Audio Conferencing license).

The Microsoft Teams add-on licenses are: Phone System: $8 per user/month. Audio Conferencing: $4 per user/month.
