All children must wear their school uniform on the first day of school. Please contact the school if you have any questions or concerns.

The AES programs is a district program designed to be an intervention that allows students an opportunity to review their behavior. Students are provided with guidance that encourage students to reflect on their conduct to make better decisions. Students are assigned a set number of days.

Appropriate T-shirts may be worn as outer garments. Clothing that exposes the upper thigh is not allowed. Shorts that are not shorter than mid-thigh, including walking shorts, Bermuda shorts, and split skirts (culottes), are allowed.

School dress code is regulated by the guidelines set forth by the Broward County School Board, in the Student Code of Conduct. Shoes: Closed-toe/heel shoes, ONLY. (No flip-flops, athletic slides, or Crocs etc.)

Broward County Public Schools requires all Paraprofessionals be "Highly Qualified". Paraprofessionals are part of the Education Support Professional (ESP) unit.

Inciting or Participating in a Disturbance means causing a large disruption to the atmosphere of order and discipline in the school that is necessary for effective learning, outside of general classroom disruption, such as a riot.

Students shall not wear midriff shirts, tube tops, spandex, mesh, fishnet garments, backless tops, strapless tops, tops or dresses with spaghetti straps, tank tops, halter tops, or pajamas in grades 5-12. Shirts that expose a large area under the arms or expose undergarments are not allowed during school hours.

Shirts must cover torso (shoulders to waist). Tops and pants must meet at the waist. thigh. – Combs, hair brushes, hair products, perfumes, etc.
