NOTE: The OHSAA has no minimum grade point (GPA) requirement, thus issues regarding eligibility when only the GPA is of concern is strictly a local school district matter and not an OHSAA matter.

All high school students MUST be enrolled in and earn passing grades in a minimum of five one-credit courses (or the equivalent) each and every grading period to have continuing eligibility.

In ance with Bylaw 3-5-1, the Preparticipation Evaluation is required to be completed once every 13 months.

Must be a graduating senior. Minimum grade point average - 3.25 on a 4.0 scale upon completion of the seventh semester. Must have received a minimum of three varsity letters in one OHSAA sanctioned sport or four varsity letters in a combination of any two or more OHSAA sanctioned sports.

If you compete under a name other than your own or provide false information in an attempt to establish athletic eligibility you will be subject to a period of ineligibility. When a high school student (grades 9-12) turns 20 years of age, he/she becomes ineligible for interscholastic athletics.
