Iolani has a smaller campus, and Punahou is enormous. From my experience as an Iolani student, Iolani kids are academically disciplined and focused, and Punahou kids tend to be more free thinking. Iolani pushes respect and moral discipline, and I'm not really sure where Punahou stands on these topics.

Iolani is a great school and is very good at preparing their students to be responsible and the best versions of themselves. Teachers are readily available for help and are resourceful. They offer great clubs and sports that are encouraged.

On campus housing for eligible faculty is offered on a space available basis. Additional employee benefits include tuition remission for one child, discounted summer school tuition, a mortgage loan assistance program, cable and Internet discounts, and a wellness program.

Tuition for the 2022-23 academic year is $27,175. In addition, an annual Technology Fee of $525 is required of each student and due with the first payment.
