4‑H programs are available for youth and teens ages 8-18. 4‑H Cloverbud programs are available for youth ages 5-7.

The main officers that should be present in a Williams County 4-H Club are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, News Reporter, Health Officer, Safety Officer, and Recreation Leader.

Cloverbud Advisor All 4-H volunteers must complete the Ohio 4-H volunteer screening process, which includes a completed background check and volunteer training. We will be having two training sessions for new 4-H volunteers for the upcoming 2022-2023 4-H season. Volunteer applicants must attend one of the sessions.

(1) Exhibitors at the Ohio state fair must be a member in good standing of Ohio state 4-H or FFA. (2) Exhibitors must be between the ages of nine and nineteen years.

To have an Ohio 4-H club, you need to have at least five youth members from three different families. Your club will need to conduct a minimum of six regular club meetings per year.

Membership to the 4-H club program begins when a child is enrolled in 3rd grade and is at least 8 as of January 1 of the current year. Any youth age 9 or above is eligible for project membership, regardless of grade level. Ohio 4-H membership ends December 31 of the year in which an individual attains the age of 19.
