Where can I get a currency card? You can get it through the An Post Money app or at a post office.

Only a KYC-compliant Indian national can purchase a forex card. Non-resident Indians cannot apply for one. A card can be issued to minors above 12 years of age after a parent/guardian has signed the application form. The applicant needs to fill up a forex card application form (either online or physical form).

To apply for a Forex card, you need to submit an Application-cum-Declaration form along with a copy of your passport, tickets and visa. You have to remit an amount in Indian Rupees (equivalent to the amount you want in foreign currency) to the bank. Once the transaction is done, your card is activated.
