For requesting a transcript from the Bureau, please use the "Transcript Request Form" form. For additional information on recently closed schools, please visit bppe.ca.gov/students/guide.shtml. For assistance following the closure of your bureau approved school, contact the Office of Student Assistance and Relief.

To obtain a transcript from a California public school, you will need to contact the school directly. If the school is closed, we suggest contacting the local school district or the County Office of Education for assistance. Contact information for these entities may be obtained from the California School Directory.

Students and alumni can request official transcripts online through the National Student Clearinghouse 24/7. It's quick, simple and secure! We have authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide online transcript ordering.

Records may include a listing of classes completed, grades, test scores, immunization records and graduation status. Student records are generally maintained at the last school of attendance for a period of up to five years after the student's scheduled graduation date.

To get an official copy of your transcript, contact your school's registrar. In most cases, you don't even have to call or go in person; the registrar's office may have an online form for requesting your transcript. You can usually pay the transcript fee online too.

If the transcript is issued to you in a sealed envelope, it is acceptable for you to open it for the purpose of uploading. Make one PDF for each institution listed on the upload site, even if it includes multiple pages, translations, a legend, degree certificate, or diploma.
