Full-ride academic scholarship: Be at the top of your class with a great GPA, take AP/honors classes, and get perfect (or close to perfect) SAT or ACT scores. Along with academic merit, it also helps to also have leadership skills or community involvement, too (see below).

HOPE and Zell Miller are merit based scholarship programs available to Georgia students who have met the University System of Georgia and the GSFC residency requirements and are enrolled in an undergraduate degree seeking program. Students may receive HOPE or Zell Miller, but NOT both at the same time.

HOPE Payment Amounts For 2022-23, the HOPE Scholarship pays a maximum of $9,640 for two semesters of enrollment in 15 credit hours per term.

Singletary Scholarship must have at least a 3.8 GPA, and if they took the ACT/SAT, a score of at least 33 or 1450. Must be a Kentucky resident. The University of Kentucky is committed to making scholarship opportunities available to students who qualify, whether they apply with or without test scores.

Need-based and academic scholarships are available for student-athletes. Athletic scholarships are available for NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NAIA and NJCAA. On average, 34% of all student-athletes receive athletic scholarships.

Georgia's HOPE scholarship and Zell Miller Scholarship do provide scholarship funds for LaGrange students. All Georgia residents enrolled full-time also receive the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant in the amount of $850 per year.

A student is ineligible to receive HOPE Scholarship funds once the student has reached the 127 semester or 190 quarter hour limit. HOPE Grant is available to Georgia residents who are pursuing a certificate or diploma.

The Zell Miller Scholarship pays the standard undergraduate tuition rate. The initial HOPE Scholarship award amount assumes the maximum amount for which you are eligible each semester. The HOPE award amount will be reduced if you enroll in fewer than 15 hours.
