The width of the columns i.e. td in a table can be fixed very easily. This can be done by adding the width attribute in the <td> tag. If the width is not specified, the width of the column changes ing to the change in the content. The specifications of width for the columns can be in pixels, or percentage.

To change this default setting, on the View menu, click View Properties. On the General tab, under Layout settings, select the Use a custom layout width for this form template check box, and then type a different number in the Custom layout width box.

By dragging either the right edge, bottom edge, or the corner, you can resize the form. The second way you can resize the form while the designer is open, is through the properties pane. Select the form, then find the Properties pane in Visual Studio. Scroll down to size and expand it.

Drag the sizing handle of the form until the form is the size you want.

With the CSS box-sizing Property If you set box-sizing: border-box; on an element, padding and border are included in the width and height: Both divs are the same size now!

To create the inputs of the same width, we have to use some CSS attributes in our program. box-sizing: It defines how the height and width of the element are calculated. moz-box-sizing: It is supported in the Mozilla Firefox browser only. -webkit-box-sizing: It is supported in the Google Chrome browser only.
