On average, it takes six months from the time you submit your manuscript until you receive a concrete decision (across all academic fields). Even if your article is accepted, it then takes an average of another six months before it is published.

It usually takes me a few hours. Most of the time is spent closely reading the paper and taking notes. Once I have the notes, writing the review itself generally takes less than an hour. It can take me quite a long time to write a good review, sometimes a full day of work and sometimes even longer.

Open Access. There are no fees for publishing with Inderscience, unless you require your article to be OA. OA articles accepted for publication are available online and freely accessible to all without any restriction except use for commercial purposes; a fee must be paid by the author(s) for an article to be made OA.

Inderscience operates a double-blind peer review process. This means that author identities are not revealed to reviewers, in order to provide an impartial and fair review. The Editor in Chief of the journal is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of papers.

Once the article has been submitted, the author must email this written evidence to submissions@inderscience.com, requesting that it be added to the submission and stating the Inderscience submission ID. The author must be the owner of the copyright and be entitled to sign the Author Copyright Agreement.
