Visitor Policy. CUNY no longer requires a proof of vaccine or recent negative test for visitors. CUNY's campuses and buildings should return to their standard protocols for visitors.

How can I get a copy of my NYSIIS immunization record? You may obtain your record from your health care provider, public health department or by requesting the record from the NYSDOH Bureau of Immunization.

Although booster shots are not required for the Spring 2023 semester at this time, we strongly encourage all students to be “up-to-date” on their related booster shots. All students taking in-person or hybrid classes must upload proof of their status to CUNYfirst so it can be approved by the start of classes.

Students born after 1994 who were raised in New York City can check the Citywide Immunization Registry for their records by calling 311.
