A student may change their curriculum/major by completing the online form. The form will be routed to the Department for approval. A student may voluntarily resign (drop all courses) from the University beginning with the first day of class through the final day for resigning shown in the “Academic Calendar”. Resignation is initiated in the office of the student's academic dean.

Louisiana State University at Alexandria also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.

Students who would like to request a major and/or concentration change should email orientation@lsu.edu with their name, LSU ID number (89 – – X) and new major request.
