All textbooks and resources should be ordered through the Iowa Hawk Shop and University Bookstore, ICON Direct, or the ISBA Law Library. If you wish to have books available from more than one local book store, please contact each business individually to place orders.

Just take your receipt/packing slip and return it to your campus bookstore.

Students can choose to buy books through the University Store, or one of the independent buyers listed through the online bookstore. Most books arrive within 4-5 days of order placement. If students need their textbooks by the first day of class, we encourage them to pre-order.

FYI, all refunds or exchanges require a valid receipt or packing slip. And sorry, shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

General Merchandise Return Policy Defective apparel and/or gift items with a receipt can be exchanged or refunded within 30 days. Defective apparel and/or gift items without a receipt can be refunded within 30 days at the lowest sale price to a gift card. No receipt: no exchanges or returns.

Original receipt is required for all returns, for a refund issued to the original tender. We cannot process returns without the original receipt. Course materials need to be returned in unused, unopened and undamaged condition in original packaging.

Merchandise exchanges and refunds may be requested within thirty (30) days of purchase with the original receipt. Merchandise must be in new, unworn and resalable condition, unless defective, with the original tags attached.

At IU Bloomington, you must order your materials online—they will not be stocked in the store. You can pick up your order in the campus store or have it shipped to you. At other campuses, titles will be stocked in-store by the author's name, rather than the Class Number.
