TOPS TECH JUMPSTART CAREER DIPLOMA The Jumpstart diploma requires only 2 science and 2 social studies courses. Four English courses are required, but in place of English III and IV, Business English and Technical Writing may be taken instead. Four math courses are required.

LAUSD Requirements Students must have a minimum of 210 credits.

Some states will also accept ACT scores as alternatives to other state testing requirements or benchmark exams. There are currently 3 states that do this: Louisiana: Students must take ACT WorkKeys or the ACT. North Dakota: Students must take the ACT or ACT WorkKeys.

Each year, students and parents meet with their academic counselor to complete an Individualized Graduation Plan (IGP). During this time, the counselor reviews the student's progress toward completing the graduation requirements.
