(c) Respiratory Protection Program Must designate aqualified program administratorto oversee the program. Must provide respirators, training, and medical evaluationsat no cost to the employee.

The purpose of this program is to ensure that all employees required to wear respiratory protection as a condition of their employment are protected from respiratory hazards through the proper use of respirators.

In addition, this program is meant to increase the awareness of respiratory hazards in the workplace and to inform employees of means available to protect themselves and others from those hazards. This program applies to any worker who may be exposed to respiratory hazards during the course of work at the University.
