Apply. Applications for the 2023 school year are now closed. If you wish to make a late application for a primary (Reception) school place, use our online application form. All applications received after 15 January 2023 will be treated as late and will only be processed after all on-time applications.

When you apply for a school place we'll check your address matches your council tax records. If you recently moved to the city and haven't registered for council tax in Brighton & Hove, you'll need to send proof of your address. Please send a copy of one of the following: your driving licence.

What the Local Offer is. The Local Offer gives information about support available in Essex for children and young people aged between 0 to 25, with Special Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

SEMH Enhanced Provisions typically provide a time limited intervention for children and young people. This is usually a period of two terms, but there may be occasional exceptions to this where longer or shorter placements are appropriate.

You can apply for a place at a state primary school online or by using your council's application form. You apply through your local council even if you're applying for schools in another council area.
