Most Bird and Lime scooters travel at a max speed of 15 to 17 miles per hour.

To remove the speed limiter on a bird scooter by switching to the fastest gear (Fly Mode), double-tap the power button twice. Double-tapping this power button twice will show a “Red S” on the Display, which is an indicator that you are in the Fly mode and thus no speed limitation whatsoever.

You must have a motorcycle license (M1 or M2) to drive a moped. You must be at least 16 years old or older to drive a moped, and you must wear a helmet while you ride.

1 Hour: $9.00 + $1.00 start fee = $10 total.

Bird Access offers three, five, or unlimited daily rides (depending on city) of 30 minutes or less for $5 per month to riders who are enrolled in or eligible for a government assistance program.
