Perform warehousing and storekeeping tasks to include receiving, identifying, labeling, storing, issuing, and delivering stocks/materials to support the company's operation in supplying the stocks/materials needed for day-to-day activities.

Cleans facilities and grounds for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment. Consults with administrative personnel for the purpose of planning, prioritizing, and scheduling custodial activities and achieving site maintenance objectives.

Custodians keep the building and grounds clean and neat, in a safe manner that meets company standards. They use cleaning chemicals to maintain equipment and other supplies while dusting, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning restrooms.

Having physical strength and agility are must-haves for this role. The primary responsibilities of this role include cleaning, waxing, and constant transportation of furniture. They also monitor and maintain records of the quality of work performed by other custodial employees.

Often work indoors. May occasionally work outdoors. Are sometimes exposed to contaminants, such as cleaning solutions. May be exposed to diseases and infections.

Duties and Responsibilities Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies. Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.

They take out the trash, clean windows, vacuum carpets, and change light bulbs. They pick up trash in the lunchroom, sweep the floors, maintain the bathrooms, and keep the school running. Our school custodians clean up after us and have a smile on their face the whole time.
