You will need to call 208-365-4743 and leave a message with the following information: permit number, type of inspection, name of contractor, name of owner, job address, a contact phone number and when you would like to have the inspection.

Walsenburg is located on I-25 and US 160, with access to Colo. Hwy 10. As the county seat it has served as a trade center for the county and region.

Visit the Shelby County Courthouse Annex (25 W. Polk St., Room 201) to fill out an application, submit the prepared site plan, and to obtain permit(s). The department generally issues permits on the same day as receipt of application.
