Get Drivers License Application

Make an appointment at your local driver license office. Provide the following documentation to the license and permit specialist: Application replacement, and. Identity (Only one primary, secondary, or supporting document is required)

(1) A current deed, mortgage, monthly mortgage statement, mortgage payment booklet, or a residential rental/lease agreement. (2) A valid, unexpired Texas voter registration card. (3) A valid, unexpired Texas motor vehicle registration or title.

To get a driver license, you'll need to have: Proof of citizenship or lawful presence in the U.S. Proof that you're a Texas resident. A social security number and a social security card. Texas vehicle registration. Proof of vehicle insurance.

An applicant for a driver license (DL) or identification card (ID) must present proof of lawful presence in the US. The table on the following pages describes the acceptable documents for each type of applicant attempting to verify lawful presence. All documentation must show the applicant's name and date of birth.

There are three categories of documents that must be presented to establish proof of identity. Every original applicant must present:  One piece of PRIMARY identification; or  One piece of SECONDARY identification plus two pieces of SUPPORTING identification; or  Two pieces of SECONDARY identification.

To obtain a Virgin Islands Driver's License, the Driver's License Information Application Form must be completely filled out by the applicant. The Medical/Vision portion must be completed (signed and stamped) by a local licensed certified physician. Applicant must show legal residency in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
