Finally, your follow up is a second opportunity to adjust the shape. As a first time microblading client you may have chosen a safer, or thinner, shape than you realized you wanted. Your follow up has you covered. Adjustments to shape and color are done at your request during your follow up.

How Long Does it Take to Complete the Process of a Microblading Touch-up? The microblading touch-up session is shorter than the initial treatment because your artist will only fill in the brows area that needs filling. It will only take about 30 minutes to one hour, depending on how perfectionist your provider is.

What Does the Touch Up Aftercare Include? The aftercare routine is pretty similar to that of the initial implementation. Clean and moisturize as instructed. Avoid makeup, sweating, sun exposure, long showers, rubbing and scratching the treated area for a couple of days.

Unlike permanent makeup, microblading is a semi-permanent procedure that can last anywhere between 1 to 3 years, after which it fades off.

Tipping your microblading or permanent makeup artist is appreciated but never required or expected. A tip shows your gratitude towards the artist, and they receive 100% of the tip.

Simply put, it's the same reason why you shouldn't ingest caffeine before your procedure; both substances (caffeine & alcohol) can thin your blood, resulting in increased bleeding during your microblading procedure.

Day 5-12 – The brows will start to peel and scab in some areas. DO NOT PICK! During this time the skin underneath the scabs may look light and ashy and may look like the strokes have disappeared, this is the ghosting stage and is normal (don't freak out) Be patient!

The microblading healing process after touch up will be much less uncomfortable than the initial healing. There will be less redness, less irritation, less itching and dryness. That said, it's all very individual and you might feel all these sensations.
