Form15 - Overtime Muster Roll for Exempted Workers The manager of every factory in which workers are exempted for overtime, shall keep a muster roll in given format showing the normal piece work rate of pay, or the rate of pay per hour, of all exempted employees.

An employee has the right to paid public holidays and leaves such as casual leave, sick leave, privilege leave and other leaves. For every 240 days of work, an employee is entitled to 12 days of annual leave. An adult worker may avail one earned leave every 20 days whereas its 15 days for a young worker.

The law prescribes that each employer shall maintain a muster roll with salary or wage particulars of all employees as per the given format, showing the following details: Name and Address of the Factory or Establishment.

This covers establishment as well as principal employer particulars with reference to wage cycle ( weekly, fortnightly,and monthly), nature of work, location of work, employee details, wage rate, overtime work particulars, gross wage, deductions, and actual wage paid.

Form 31 - Muster Roll.

The manager of every factory shall maintain a muster roll of all the workers employed in the factory in the given format showing (a) the name of each worker, (b) the nature of his work and (c) the daily attendance of the worker.

The meaning of muster roll refers to a register of personnel used in organized groups such as companies or factories, which records the names of individuals who are present for duty or work on a particular day or period.
