Get Ohio State Id Number Lookup

A state identification number is an EIN that businesses use for state income tax reporting. The state tax ID is also called a state EIN, state employer ID, or state tax registration. You need a state tax ID number if your business must file state taxes.

The 8 or 10-digit number on the lower right corner of your license, permit or non-driver ID, or on the back if it was produced after January 28, 2014. (See page 2 for sample documents.)

You will receive your new driver license or identification card in the mail within 10 business days after visiting a deputy registrar location. Your new card will arrive in a plain, white envelope.

Navigate to ohid.ohio.gov and log into your OH|ID account using your username and password. After logging in, click on the human icon in the top right corner of the screen next to the “Log Out” option. After clicking the icon, a drop down will appear with your name and user ID listed.

The Ohio state identification number is located to the right of the picture and just below the address listed. The number you are looking for is the license number.
