The Office of Student Financial Aid will email students who are eligible to become a Georgia Commitment Scholar and may ask for additional documents to verify their aid eligibility.

To be eligible for the Regents Scholarship, you must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or a non-citizen student qualifying under California Assembly Bills 130 or 131 with outstanding academic qualifications. UGA Undergraduate Admissions automatically screens all incoming first-year (freshman) students for Academic Scholarships during the admissions process.
