IRS Publication 4134, Low Income Taxpayer Clinic List, provides information about LITCs by geographic area, including contact information and details about the languages, in addition to English, in which each LITC offers services.

The application period runs from March 7, 2023, through April 18, 2023. Due to the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, the LITC Program Office has more funding for fiscal year 2023, and the maximum amount of an award an organization can receive for year 2023 has been increased from $100,000 to $200,000.

You qualify if your adjusted gross income (AGI), as determined by your most recently filed income tax return (Form 1040 or 1040-SR), is less than or equal to the amount shown in the chart on Form 656, Section 1, based on your family size and where you live.
