You must file Form IT-203, Nonresident and Part-Year Resident Income Tax Return, if you: were not a resident of New York State and received income during the tax year from New York State sources, or.

If you file a New York State personal income tax return, complete Form IT-214, Claim for Real Property Tax Credit, and submit it with your return. If you are not required to file a New York State income tax return, but you qualify for this credit, just complete and file Form IT-214 to claim a refund of the credit.

Will I receive an HTRC check again in 2023? No. The HTRC was a one-year program to provide property tax relief in 2022.
