alphasigmaphi.org. A lpha Sigma Phi Fraternity is the fastest growing fraternity of choice in the United States. Founded at Yale in 1845, Alpha Sigma Phi is the 10th oldest fraternity in existence and is comprised of 126 active chapters, 25 colonies, and 2 interest groups.

The fraternity practices many traditions. Its Latin motto is, Causa Latet Vis Est Notissima (“The cause is hidden, the results well-known”). The fraternity's official symbol is the phoenix, as the phoenix rises from the ashes of its old body, signifying the re-founding of the fraternity in the early 1900s.

About Alpha Sigma Phi Now over 175 years later Alpha Sigma Phi is one of the largest and strongest fraternities in the nation. A group of students was organized by alumni of Alpha Sigma Phi living in the Seattle Area to seek a charter in Alpha Sigma Phi.
