Summer Bridge familiarizes students with important campus resources, helps with course planning and scheduling, informs students about transfer options and degree requirements, and students explore time management and study skills strategies to help them succeed at GCC.

The Mt. SAC Summer Bridge Program is a 6 week program that supports graduating high school students to acclimate to college life, build connections and get over the fears of college. Students refer to the Bridge Program as a community and family.

Bridge programs prepare adults with limited academic or limited English skills to enter and succeed in credit-bearing postsecondary education and training leading to career-path employment in high-demand, middle- and high-skilled occupations.
