​Stellenbosch University (SU) offers students a wide range of undergraduate programmes across its 10 faculties: AgriSciences, Arts and Social Sciences, Economic and Management Sciences, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine and Health Sciences, Military Science, Science, and Theology.

Applications are reviewed by the Faculty Secretary (and International Office if you are an international student) to ensure that you comply with the entry requirements for the programme.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The National Senior Certificate (NSC) or the school-leaving certificate of the Independent Examination Board (IEB) with an average of at least 60%. Four university admission subjects, each passed at least at level 4.

This contract and your application form are the University's agreement with you and your parent(s)/guardian(s). It takes effect as soon as you have signed it. You must print, sign, and upload this Student Contract to the Applicant Portal when you accept an offer from the University.

Conditional admission means that you are admitted on condition that your final results for the NSC meet the basic admission requirements for university study and the minimum admission requirements of the programme you applied for. Only then can your admission to the University be finalised.
