You need to be 18 years old to drive in Hong Kong, and in possession of both a full UK driving licence and an International Driving Permit. After 12 months you will need to convert to a Hong Kong licence, which can be done without sitting another test.

If you are just visiting Australia, you can drive the same type of vehicle as your current licence allows, but you must drive ing to any conditions on your overseas licence. You will need either one of these: a current licence issued in another country that is written in English.
