Contact your high school directly: The most reliable way to obtain your GPA is to reach out to your high school's registrar or guidance office. They should have a record of your academic performance, including your transcripts and GPA.

Your guidance counselor, or college counselor, typically is the right person to contact for your high school transcript. You can stop by in the office or try emailing them to get a copy of your transcript.

If you've received your report card recently, your GPA might be listed there. Otherwise, you can request an official transcript from your high school's main office or counseling office. Some schools also have online portals where students and parents can access grades and GPA information.

If you graduated from high school, contact the school district from which you graduated to request your diploma and transcript.

Special Program records are only retained from the cessation of service plus 5 years. Some high school records, such as the transcript are retained permanently; however, the majority of records are disposed of based on the district's retention schedules, which begin at the date of withdrawal and/or graduation.

A graduate who wishes to obtain a replacement copy of his or her high-school diploma must first obtain a copy of his or her transcript from Inactive Records (see "Transcripts" for details) and present it to the registrar at his or her individual high school. NOTE: In compliance with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, Local Schedule SD (13 TAC 7.125(a)(6)) (Third Edition), most student records are not kept any longer than five (5) years from that date of withdrawal or graduation of the student, some records may be retained for less than five (5) years.
