Prairie View A&M University offers a number of scholarships for undergraduate, graduate, transfer and continuing students that show promise through academics, leadership and/or community involvement.

A minimum cumulative 3.25 grade point average is required to automatically renew the Regents' Scholarship each year.

Earn a 3.3 cumulative high school GPA. Graduate from an accredited Utah high school. Be a United States citizen or a non-citizen eligible for federal student aid. Meet college enrollment or deferment requirements.

To be eligible for the Regents Scholarship, you must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or a non-citizen student qualifying under California Assembly Bills 130 or 131 with outstanding academic qualifications. Only students who fall under these categories are eligible for the Regents Scholarship.

The Regents Scholarship Program was established by the Regents of the University of California in 1962 and represents one of the highest honors awarded to a student at the University. Regents Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and exceptional promise.

The Regents' Student Merit Scholarships are renewable up to four years (eight semesters) provided the student earns 30 semester credit hours per academic year with a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA. Coursework taken during a summer session cannot be used to meet the required credit load or GPA renewal requirements.

Mines Merit Scholarships First-year recipients are selected upon admission based on their high school unweighted grade point average and composite SAT or ACT scores. We rely heavily on private donors to maintain our academic scholarship program from year to year.
