Change You Major, Minor, and/or Certificate Students can now request changes to their academic plan of study (major/minor/certificate) by clicking on the link Request an Academic Plan Change within their myWCU. To add more than two majors, please email the Registrar's Office.

The process for declaring a major varies by major and/or school. Regardless, students must meet with their academic advisor before declaring or changing a major. Students should declare a major before earning 105 credits to avoid a registration hold. Some majors offer formal options.

Please reach out to the Registrar's Office ( registrar @wcu.edu) if you have a course that is not transferring.

Degree/Module changes are completed through the Academic Advising Help Portal . Request changes to your degree/module(s) in the following situations: you forgot to complete your Intent to Register.

Log-in to your myWCU account: https://my.wcupa.edu • Click on the “Enroll in a Class” link. Select the term in which you want to enroll and click on the green “Continue” button. Identify the number of credits you plan to schedule by selecting a credit range from the drop down menu and click the green “Submit” button.

If you decide to change your major, you will need to log into the ecampus and submit the degree change form (located in the menu under Academic Plan & Forms/University Forms).
