If you lodge an Aged Parent Visa (subclass 804) in Australia, you will be granted a Bridging Visa which will allow you to remain in Australia lawfully during the processing of your visa, though you will not have access to Centrelink benefits or Medicare whilst your visa is being processed.

Form 47SP is the Partner Visa Applicants form that provides Immigration with the Applicants details. It used to be a paper form, but is now done online, as part of the Partner Visa Application. 47SP is in the “Stage 1 – Partner / Prospective Marriage Visa” part of the IMMI account procedure.

This application is to be completed by persons applying for a partner visa outside Australia and by persons applying for a partner visa in Australia. If you are applying outside Australia, you will be applying to migrate. If you are applying in Australia, you will be applying for permanent residence.
