The security screening certificate and briefing form (TBS/SCT 330-47) is used to security brief an employee after they have been granted a reliability status or security clearance. It is also used to terminate an employee's security screening when they leave your organization.

Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD)

CISD stands for Critical Incident Stress Debriefing. Critical incident debriefings are facilitator-led processes conducted soon after a traumatic event for a group of people who are experiencing or at risk for a stress reaction. The best practice is for a CISD to occur within 72 hours.

Security Clearances are done by Public Works and Government Services Canada. There are 5 levels of Security Clearances: Reliability, Confidential, Secret, Nato Secret and Top Secret.

An enhanced reliability status allows access to Protected C information and assets. It requires the applicant to provide 5 years of verifiable background history. It is typically valid for 10 years from the date of issue, unless revoked or terminated.
