Description Amended Petition For Divorce
In this example of an amended petition for divorce, the petitioner adds a request for alimony pendente lite according to LSA-C.C. Art. 111. In addition the petitioner, due to her poverty, requests to prosecute the action without cost pursuant to LSA-C.C.P. Articles 5181-5188, and requests to be allowed to file the amended petition. An attached order permits petitioner to file the amended petition, to proceed without cost and further orders the defendant to show cause as to why he should not be required to pay alimony to petitioner.
