This Horse Information Sheet is to be completed by the owner for each horse. It is for use in connection with boarding and/or services and should be completed for each horse to be boarded.
To the left-hand side of a horse's name on a race card you will find the form figures. The numbers read from right to left and denote the horse's finishing positions in its previous races with the furthest right result being the most recent.
Form runs from left to right, with the oldest races on the left and the most recent on the right. The numbers 1-9 indicate the position the horse finished in the race. The number 0 indicates that the horse finished outside the first 9. The symbol separates racing seasons. Numbers before the are for last season.
W - Means that the horse has won a race on a track rated SLOW or HEAVY. B - Mean's that the horse started favorite at it's last start, but it did not win. H - Means that the horse is trained on this same track. N - Means that the horse has won a race before at a night race meeting.

What does L mean in horse racing form? L means the horse was left at start. In other words the horse either refused, or was unable to, leave its starting position in the race.
O - horse ran out. P - pulled up. R - refused. S - slipped up. U - unseated rider.

When horse racing odds are shown in the form of 7-2, 5-1, etc, it expresses the amount of profit to the amount invested. So odds of 7-2 mean that for every $2 invested, the punter gets $7 profit in return. This means when you bet $2, the total return if the bet is successful is $9.
