A lawyer who knows that another lawyer has committed a violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct that raises a substantial question as to that lawyer's honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer in other respects must inform the appropriate professional authority.

Rule 8.2 Judicial Officials (a) A lawyer shall not make a statement of fact that the lawyer knows to be false or with reckless disregard as to its truth or falsity concerning the qualifications or integrity of a judge or judicial officer, or of a candidate for election or appointment to judicial office.

An out of state lawyer can represent you in Florida if they are a member of the Florida Bar or if they are admitted pro hac vice in ance with the state's rules.

(A) A member shall not intentionally, recklessly, or repeatedly fail to perform legal services with competence.

Does Florida have reciprocity with any other jurisdiction? Unfortunately, no Florida does not accept a law license from any other state. Lawyers that move to Florida from other states need to apply for the Florida Bar and take the state's Bar exam in order to become a licensed attorney in the state.
