Cal Tracs are a modern version of a slapper bar that used the front spring eye bolt as a pivot to further push down on the front of the spring. I just got a set of Caltracs for my truck (specs in the sig) and I was wondering if anyone has tips, suggestions or warnings for me before I bolt em on.Park truck on a flat work area, chocking the front tires is advised to avoid rolling. To do this I used a blow torch and sledgehammer to knock out the bushings. With the bars on the truck now has NO wheel hop or spring wrap. I have a 66 coupe with the springs relocated 4' inboard. I'd like to use the cal tracs system but they recommend the split leaf springs. I would like to look at some installation instructions prior to ordering, but can't find anything online.
